Seahaven was noticeably warmer than she'd remembered it being, despite the fact that it was late enough into the year that the cold season should be starting. Even now, it was still warm enough that she no longer felt any real need to wear her jacket at all times, much less that heavy coat she kept in case of emergencies. She wore the jacket anyway mostly out of habit, though now instead of keeping it closed as tightly as possible, she kept it open and wore it loosely over the rest of her clothing.
She'd heard some word that one of the Pillars had been responsible for the change of weather in Seahaven and its surrounding areas, but hadn't heard who it was nor did she feel it was necessary to go and find out. It was safer for her to go out, and that was the important thing; as much as she loved her home here, she still didn't want to feel confined like she had been when she was still living in her old home on Doma Lin.
Thanks to the favorable weather, anyone spending the evening out in Seahaven was likely to find the girl on one of her usual walks, except she looked much more comfortable with spending time outside now than she did before. She did still tend to shy away from most people if they got a little too close, but most if not all of Seahaven's residents were aware of why she preferred to have some space for quite some time now; nobody really questioned it anymore if she suddenly jerked back or made any move to keep at least some distance from others.
She didn't have any specific destination in mind when it came to her wandering, though; it was just a walk for walking's sake. She would probably wind up passing by the store on her way back home anyway in order to pick up a few things.
